Community Spaces Announcement

The Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre in Ile des Chenes, MB, has been rehabilitating injured, sick and orphaned wildlife for their return to the wild since 1984. They are a volunteer-drivenregistered charity that has cared for over 35,000 wildlife; who play a vital role in the ecological and biological processes that are essential to life itself. They rely on the generous support of volunteers and donors to rehabilitate wildlife and educate about the awareness, appreciation and peaceful coexistence with wildlife.

We are happy to announce that the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre has been chosen as the winner of Co-op Community Spaces Program! On Tuesday, June 27, 2017 we presented them with a cheque for $125,000! The afternoon included a BBQ, media release and guided tours through the facilities.

Wildlife Haven is building their first permanent wildlife hospital and education centre that will be able to care for more animals in better conditions. We are proud to be apart of making this happen!
